Great lunch home made Scones which were like coconut pie! Great for older ones. Do it first day your stay, island knowledge is my description.

First time visit-great tour
Great tour. Nat is a great asset to the tour company he works for. He was funny and friendly throughout the tour. He shared some really great knowledge about Rarotonga.

We would recommend to...
We would recommend to other visitors to the Cook Islands to do the tour. Nat our tour guide was very friendly, and being a local to Rarotonga, he had a wealth of knowledge to share with our group, and he demonstrated his coconut cleaning and opening skills, so that we could taste fresh coconut, yummy! We also enjoyed the lovely light refreshments that was provided! We enjoyed our tour of the island especially in the comfortable and cool mini bus. Thanks Nat and the Raro tours team!

Would love to leave a review but the tour company did not pick us up.Our ticket was correct for the 8th September but the tour company had us down for 5th August.Not sure why that happened anyway they booked us in for tomorrow the 9th.Fingers crossed they come and get us this time.

An enjoyable couple of hours seeing some of the sights of Raro with local guide Nate.

Must do Orientation Tour on Rarotonga
Would highly recommend doing this orientation tour early in your stay. The tour guide Nat picked us up promptly drove our group around on roads we would not have travelled, and pointed out things we would not have noticed. He shared stories of life on the island, and shared his knowledge of the Cook Islands, past and present. He was warm and funny, and answered all our questions. We learned about livestock and farming and also coconuts, then enjoyed fresh sweet bread and fruit and of course the delicious fresh coconut.

Great tour and would recommend
After originally booking for Tuesday, I didn’t get picked up which was disappointing but they changed it to Thursday which worked for me. Guide was amazing, funny and gave lots of great information on the history and villages on the island going around the back road which was my first time in 4 trips to Raro. Was a great few hours finished off by a nice lunch. Bus was nice and air conditioned which made it comfortable as it was a hot day

Rarotonga island tour in August 7 , 2026.
Very interesting tour with a driver giving a lot of historical explanations and full of agriculture descriptions. At the end he also proposed to show how to peel a coconut and a to enjoy a light suit degustation. Many thanks Nat
