The trip was great. BUT I...
The trip was great. BUT I strongly dispute Viator's policy of providing NO DIRECT CONTACT INFORMATION for either Viator itself or the trip provider at the time we made our reservation. For reasons beyond our control we had to amend our plans on short notice, & I had to Google both Viator & the contracted tour provider to get phone #s. Once we called Viator Mohamed provided excellent assistance. For reasons unknown, I never received emails sent by Viator & the contractual tour provider.
While I would strongly recommend hiring a guide to see Monument Valley - & this specific contractor - I would strongly advise people not to do so through Viator.

Guides make the difference
Wonderful tour. For me, this is the best way to see the valley. Our guide was terrific and he made the difference as he could explain the formations and the history of the people living in the valley.

The way to see Monument Valley
It was a great way to see Monument Valley without having to drive the rough road in our rental car. Our guide, Bobby, was super knowledgeable and friendly. He also gave good recommendations on photo spots and angles. We were able to see parts of Monument Valley that drivers in their personal cars are restricted from entering.
The only minor complaint is that it wasn't easy to figure out where to meet our driver. Everyone on our tour had the same issue. There are several tour companies that pick up passengers at different locations and not clear directions on where to meet.

It was different from the picture.
The experience was very good, and the guide was also good.
However, we were not taken to the location that is the main photo of the tour. I can go to a place like this! It was very disappointing because I had been expecting more.

Awesome tour!
Bobby was very knowledgeable and interested in sharing his wisdom with us. This was one of the best tours we have ever done.
