3 - Dagstur til Canadian Rockies: Yoho & Jasper National Park

Beskrivelse

I did the 7 day VIA Rain Winter Experience, Jasper & Rockies 7 day tour. Calgary Tours were brilliant to deal with from the time of book to on the ground touring. Whilst part of my journey was independent (rail and Jasper) the directions and extra tours booked were easy to follow. Eric and Zach the tour guides in the Rockies were both awesome! Lots of knowledge when out exploring and always very helpful. The tour size only had a maximum of 10 on the biggest day so you got to know other guests. The accommodation provided was very comfortable and the breakfasts were so yummy. I felt totally safe as a solo traveller and would not hesitate to book further tours with Calgary Tours.
I really enjoyed our tour, it was a 6 day one, apparently you can do as many or as little days as you want, they work around your schedule. Our main tour guide Raymond was the nicest guide and considerate and knowledgeable and Jeremy the driver was very good too. I highly recommend this tour, they look after you and very organized and they know who is going on which tour on which day and that is how they operate.
Hello, Thank you so much for your incredibly kind and detailed review! We are absolutely thrilled to hear that you had such a wonderful experience on your 6-day tour with us. It means a lot to our team to know that you appreciated the flexibility of our tours and our organizational efforts. We're especially proud to hear your praise for our main tour guide, Raymond, and our driver, Jeremy. They are both valuable members of our team, and we will be sure to share your compliments with them. Your high recommendation and recognition of how we look after our guests are the best compliments we could receive. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back for another unforgettable journey with us in the future!
The tour was very well organized, the coach trip was confortable, we visited amazing places, and we even had the chance to meet other friendly tourists who were sharing the same tour experience. The hotels were very beautiful, and we apreciated the included breakfast. We had time to choose were to have lunch or dinner (which were not included for us). The guide Raimond was kind and professional, and the driver (maybe Geremy but I am not sure about the name) was very good.
Two of us went for a 4-day Rockies special tour to Banff, Jasper and Yoho. Did not opt for a group lunch coupon as one of us needed to be vegetarian. Most places, we got something to eat for lunch. Getting food packed for the day is the best option. Columbia icefield parking station has surprisingly good, not expensive and fast-food options. If you are from a different country and looking to do some shopping on your tour, Icefield parking station is the cheapest option. Our bus driver Garry was very careful and patient on the road. He looked out for wildlife for us. Our guide Jessy was very helpful, and his instructions were to the point. No information overload and no drama. We only wish he spoke slower so wouldn't have had to concentrate so hard. The tour was excellently organized, and everything was on time. we also got enough time at each place. By the end of it, we happily had enough of the mountains and the lakes. Wish we had gotten more evening time in Jasper though. The last day was a lot of bus travel plus the flight back, so we were totally exhausted. should have stretched a bit on our way back. Missed taking a photo with both of them in a hurry. It was a memorable trip; I would definitely recommend it.
We just finished a 4 day Jasper / Banff / Sulphur Mountain trip. The overall experience was excellent apart from a few minor niggles. The buses used were small and didn’t have toilet/WiFi /mobile charging ports. The tour guides/drivers were bilingual in English and Chinese but their English usage was rudimentary, so no ex-tempore comments in English. We booked the meal plans and the meals provided were really excellent as were the hotels provided for the stay (Jasper Inn & Banff Aspen Lodge). All the important sightseeing was covered punctually and we didn’t end up being too tired at the end of the day.
The Maligne cruise was the best and weather was also great, so that impacts the overall experience. I wish that there were lunch options available to purchase at the beginning of the tour. It seemed to be dependent on which company we used for booking. It was always a scramble trying to find lunch with very limited time for all 3 days, whereas some people in the group had prepaid options even before the tour started. So some of us felt left out alas we were not even asked to opt in to this option. Please try to make it equitable for all the participants.
Great things to see and do on the tour, our tour guide was very nice The hotels were decent and things ran on time Our tour group (not Viator's fault) of other customers were not the greatest. Some were rude and others constantly pushed their way to the front of the line as if the rest of us did not exist. Others showed up late and then cut the line. In the future maybe some guidelines should be given for the guests.
I had a memorable trip to Banff, Alberta with Calgary tours. Our tour guide Jesse was fun and also took amazing photos of us. I am definitely going to book another tour with them if I visit Calgary again.
Thanks you Minuag for your business and writing us a review. We really appreciate it. It is great to know you had fabulous time here in Alberta. The tour guide Jesse is very happy hearing that you enjoyed his service. The team here at Calgary Tours is also thrilled for such good feedback. We look forward to facilitating your vacation again in the near future. Best Regard, Calgary Tours
