We thank Uwanda tour for organizing our safari. A big thank you to our guide Raphaël. He was very professional and very kind. Raphaël took the time to explain things to us and really help us discover all the beauty of the reserve. The visit to the Maasai village as well as the school was a very beautiful experience. We highly recommend this company for their organization, the kindness of our guide, and a very good value for money.
The guides on the boat and jeep safari were excellent. They were very special events. Highly reccomend. However, don’t bother with the village tour - it was a guide who had very little to say and just walked us up the main road. The walking safari was so inappropriate. While the information was interesting, it was delivered in a sexual and vulgar way by the guide. Too long, no animals and not suitable for children. Communication while I was booking was excellent. But during the 3 days, I had to reach out to ask about timings and arrangements. Still waiting for refund as the jeep safari was 2 hours shorter than we were told.

Just to clarify about the jeep safari and village, the refund for the two hours has already been processed, and we’ve sent you proof of the transaction. Please note it can take between 7 to 21 days for the amount to reflect in your account, depending on your bank. For village tour you told guide you need to get back lodge because it was too heat where you picked up for walking 03PM. The game drive ended earlier because you requested to leave the park due to the heat. As we mentioned before, the plan was to continue until sunset or until you wished to return. You spoke with the guide and decided to finish around 4:30 pm, leaving the park at 4:45 pm and arriving at the hotel at 5:00 pm. About Walking Safari and other arrangements we show in quote that in walking what will expect see to learn. Thank you.

We used Uwanda for a family safari. Tour Guide: Apollo was such a great guide, very patient, accomodating and a good listener. He knew the park with the back of his hands, he took us to some lovely places, as we had some free time because the flight was delayed, he took us to visit a local village. a great eye opener. The experience: Boat trip: I was sea sick, but the kids loved it, be aware of the porters, they tried to charge us $30 to carry our luggage. Road trip from Dar El Salaam to Nyrere, was quite interesting to drive through the hectic city and then the villages, the kids running after the car, it was lovely Safari: Perfect!! we saw the elephants, zebras, wildebeast, lioness, impalas, baboons, monkeys,buffalos Boat trip: we saw reptiles, colourful birds and Hippos, the guide was friendly Bushman walk: so so interesting, learned a lot about nature , more for adults than kids Flight back was quick and easy
