Beskrivelse
Velkommen til en mørkere side af Bratislava. Denne tur, som du læser om i øjeblikket er en meget unik og en af en slags perspektiv på Bratislava, Slovakiet og Tjekkoslovakiet i de sidste 100 år. Det er en meget specifik tur. Din 5eur pris, er en reservation gebyr for at have en plads på turen. Det er opdelt mellem Viator og ledelsen af ture. Guiderne på disse ture betales af bidragene i slutningen af turen, baseret på, hvordan du opnåede det. Vi vil introducere dig til en meget dynamisk og vanskelig periode i skabelsen af vores identitet og vise dig gennem meget unikke steder de op og ned af det foregående århundrede. Vi vil tale om slutningen af monarkiet, efter slutningen af 1. verdenskrig, 1. CSR, fascistisk Slovakiet, kommunistisk CSSR, Føderationen og endelig den moderne slovakiske republik. Hvis du vil have en fantastisk oplevelse i vores by, og din guide vil i det mindste opfylde dine forventninger, foreslår vi tip 10-20 EUR pr. person.

Her afslutter vi og taler om slutningen af det kommunistiske partiregime og murens fald. Nævner 90'erne, hvor Tjekkoslovakiet falder sammen og Bratislava bliver hovedstaden i den nye stat - Slovakiet.

This was a great tour! Jacob was very knowledgeable, friendly and willing to answer any questions on the topic. His passion for the subject made the tour exciting and interesting. The tour was easy going with lots of great stops and historical facts on how the War and communist times affected the area. A must do for history nerds.

A (dark) black part of the history of Slovakia/Bratislava told during a tour of the city. Approach quite different from what you would expect on such a tour. Emphasis on an entirely different aspect of history.

Guide was extremely knowledgeable on the subject. He started 30 minutes late which made us miss the last part of his talk, due to another engagement we had.
This is a fantastic walking tour for those interested in learning the more recent history of Bratislava and Slovakia. Jakub was an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable. He made everything easy to understand but went into a great level of detail. His perspective as a native allowed him to weave personal and family stories into the tour which was appreciated. Definitely recommend this tour and Jakub!
Wow, what a brilliant walking tour. Jakub was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable about all the phases of Slovakian history and geography. He told us of the awful phases of history the people had to live through during the 20th century and also interjected it with humour too. Thoroughly thought provoking, informative and enjoable.
Maris was such a knowledgeable guide. Such an interesting tour, with no punches pulled about the difficult times in Slovakia’s 20th Century history. Takes nearly 3 hours but very worthwhile.
Jakub was a absolutely amazing tour guide, funny and knowledgable about the country and the city, he connected with all of us and taught us a lot about everything in Bratislava.
