Slut dig til os på denne private tur til Pompeji uden for den slagne vej med en RIGTIG arkæolog! Du vil have chancen for at gå og opdage Pompeji, med vores erfaring som arkæologer, på steder og veje med ingen eller kun få mennesker fra hinanden! Denne tur vil være den bedste måde at værdsætte de utrolige ruiner uden at blive kvalt af mængden og den varme temperatur! Vi viser dig på en meget afslappet måde alle de vigtigste ting, men også de skjulte detaljer. Pompeji er det andet arkæologiske område for antallet af besøgende i Italien (efter Colosseum i Rom), og især i højsæsonen fra april til oktober er det overfyldt! Også i løbet af sommeren kan være meget varmt og varmt! Af disse grunde beslutter vi os for også at lave en tur, der starter om eftermiddagen (normalt fra 16.30 til 18.30 KUN fra APRIL til OKTOBER), når det arkæologiske område er tomt for masseturister og køligere for havbrisen!

Vi vil også undersøge den private bygning: Thermopolium (en romersk "fastfood"), Bageri, stofmarkedet, huse.

Dr Roberto is a must guide when visiting Pompeii! A passionate archeologist, his knowledge for the area helps to set the scene and immerse you in the setting. He kept us away from the crowds whenever possible. Highly recommend!

For a family of six with a distribution between the ages of 13 and 53, it can be difficult to find activities that everyone likes and understands Pompeii is a place we must all experience in order to understand and learn about our common European history and past. I was not in doubt that it required a private tour, and I found these good recommendations and chose this operator. Roberto coordinated everything to perfection, but it was Giada who was our guide. Thank you, Giada, for telling so vividly, explaining both the great features of the story and the interesting details. No doubt about your academic background in history and archaeology. You made it alive and real for us, and thank you for taking care of him for 13 years! No one would have less than two hours. I could even have continued with you for hours because I was not aware of the area size. Thank you for choosing a corner of the area with many exciting houses and stories. If we get to the area again, we book through here again. Ps: Do as Roberto asks and buy the tickets before the tour. We saved at least 20 minutes in the queue by having the tickets ready

We visited Pompeii in July and booked Francesco as our guide. He met us at the train station and took us in past the queues and gave us a brilliant private tour of the site. Roberto and Francesco had recommended we get there early when it opened so as to beat the cruise ship crowds and the heat; their advice was right on both counts. Our tour was 2 hours, and by the end the heat was getting too much for us (if we'd have been on our own without a guide, we'd have missed so much just trying to stand in the shade). Francesco absolutely made our visit. I was hesitant about paying for a private guide but I'm now recommending anyone I know who will be visiting to make sure they book this tour. Francesco is supremely knowledgeable and will take you to see all the best bits you'd never find without him. Thank you, Roberto and Francesco!
