Sitka Sea Level Adventures er en lokal & familie-drevet tur selskab i Sitka, Alaska. Vi specialiserer os i hvalovervågning og marine dyrelivsture, vi udforsker Sitka Sound & den uberørte vildmark omkring Tongass National Forest & den vulkanske kystlinje på vores ø hjem. De omkringliggende farvande er en marine legeplads for flere hvalarter, herunder Humpback, Gray og Killer hvaler, havløvere, havuttere, ørne, puffins & havfugle galore!

Sitka Sound er hjemsted for nogle af de mest fantastiske dyreliv i verden. På vores rejser ser vi ofte seler, havløver, havuttere og hvaler. Der er også en bred vifte af fugle i vores område: bald eagles, puffins og muir er blot nogle få, der skiller sig ud. Sitka Blacktail hjorte og Brown Bears er også et almindeligt syn. We had an amazing time...
We had an amazing time with Captain Jaren! As an Alaskan native, he knows the area incredibly well, and it really shows. He was great to communicate with before the tour, and during the trip he shared lots of interesting information about the wildlife and local area while answering all of our questions.
We saw whales, sea lions, sea otters, and Captain Jaren even went out of his way to help us find a bear! You can tell he genuinely cares about giving everyone a great experience. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking for an unforgettable day on the water!

Great day on the water!
Great experience from the get go. Our guide, Joel, contacted me a day prior to let me know how to get to meeting spot. He arrived 15 min early. The boat had ample space for 6 people to sit or stand plus snacks. We were able to see whales, sea lions, otters and eagles on our tour. Joel was very knowledgeable about the marine life and relayed a lot of info about their migratory patterns, feeding, etc. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience!
This was a phenomenal experience. I highly recommend the private tour. We were able to customize the trip to however we wanted. All members of our family got excellent views. We saw whales, sea lions, otters and the volcano. Captain Jaren was super friendly and we would highly recommend.

A wonderful experience.
This was a highlight of our cruise. Captain Jaren Sumauang was so nice and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the life in Sitka. All 6 of us had a great time. If we ever return, we will want him to be our guide.

Great experience
A really special experience. We loved the private tour with a family of 3. Captain Joel was really knowledgeable and great guide! We had a cancelled tour with another provider and these guys were SO helpful and accommodating. It was a wonderful time seeing Whales, sea otters, sea lions and birdlife!

Top notch marine wildlife tour with a locally grown, terrific Captain!
The wild Alaskan ocean is like no other place on earth. It will blow your mind to be out in the open, glorious outer coast and you'll be able to completely enjoy it with this safe, lifelong ocean going captain! Jaren is the perfect blend of wisdom, kindness, accommodation, knowledge, and fun. We got to see our ultimate hope- PUFFINS! But, even if we hadn't, it was over-the-top supreme to be out on the water like that with such a local, authentic champ. I've lived here longer than he's been alive and spent a ton of time on the water (including owning a couple of boats) and I am 100% satisfied and thrilled with our adventure with visiting guests. I got this tour through a silent auction, so you'll also be happy to know that a local good guy is supporting local great organisations through donations! If you book here with Captain Jaren, it'll be your highlight of Alaska!

Seeing all of the wildlife
I went with Jaren and friends to Saint Lazaria. He made a lot of funny jokes, which made me laugh.he knows all of the good whale spots. He is able to drive the boat and look out and spot wildlife. He was very flexible with our schedule. He makes you feel like you are in good hands
