I had a short 2-day trip with my family from Fes to Merzouga. The journey was nice and we enjoyed the landscapes. In Merzouga, we explored the desert with our guide, Brahim. He was very kind and showed us the dunes. We rode camels and watched the sunset, which was beautiful. At night, we stayed in a camp and enjoyed traditional food and music. It was a short but unforgettable trip.

We spent a night in a tent in the desert near Merzouga. Very comfortable tent with private bathroom, electricity. Comedy ride at sunset, surfing down a dune (very fun activity), traditional meals, dances and Berber music around the fire. We then spent a very pleasant time with Ibrahim who was our guide in the desert. We took with him a 4x4 excursion for about 5 hours. He speaks French and knows the desert like his pocket. He introduced us to different places in the desert, some touristic (visiting a Berber village with traditional Gnawa music) and others more authentic. He then dropped us off at our hotel where he made sure we had a booked room. We felt safe and confident with him. Thank you Ibrahim 😊
