The kids were thrilled to see zebras and giraffes up close, and the guide patiently explained the behaviors of the animals, making the entire journey educational as well as exciting. Next, we headed to the Ngorongoro Crater, which was the highlight of our trip. In just a few hours, we saw lions lounging in the sun, buffalo grazing calmly, and even a shy rhino in the distance. It felt like stepping into a natural wildlife documentary. Our guide was exceptional — spotting animals from afar, taking care of our safety, and sharing fascinating stories about Tanzanian culture and wildlife. The accommodations, although simple, were comfortable, clean, and cozy. The campsites and lodges provided just enough comfort to relax after each day’s adventure without taking away from the authentic safari experience. We were a group of 6 friends, first we did Kilimanjaro via the Machame route and then two days of safari. It has been an incredible and impressive experience, which we will never forget, all thanks to the porters and guides who accompanied us at all times and who made our dream come true.
