2 - Dag Wildlife Safari til Lake Mburo National Park
Beskrivelse
Du vil starte din rejse ved at køre fra Kampala til Lake Mburo National Park, som tager omkring 4 - 5 timer. Undervejs vil du stoppe ved Uganda Equator, en særlig linje, der opdeler Jorden i den nordlige og sydlige halvdel. Her kan du stå med en fod i hver halvdel, tage billeder og se hvordan vandet roterer forskelligt på hver side af linjen. Du kan også besøge små butikker for at købe lokale håndværk. Efter dette stop, vil du fortsætte til din lodge. Senere vil du gå på en aften game drive for at se dyr som zebraer, impalas, buffaloer, warthogs, og måske endda leoparder eller hyener. Den anden dag, efter morgenmaden, vælger du enten at cykle på særlige stier i parken eller tage en guidet tur med en ranger. På begge måder kan du komme tæt på dyr som giraffer, zebraer og antiloper, mens du lærer om planter og dyr omkring dig. Efter morgen aktiviteten, vil du vende tilbage til lodgen til frokost og derefter starte kørsel tilbage til Entebbe eller Kampala

Friendly guide, unforgettable abundance of beautiful animals, accommodation in a tent with climatic restaurant. Nice food and sharing the culture. I was taken care of on every step. My advice if you are visiting on low season you will feel luxurious! :)

It was a great time during the two days at Lake Mburo NP. On our way to the park we stopped at the equator to get the effects of changing from one hemisphere to the other one shown. Even before entering the park we could see the first zebras. Then in the park the walking safari was great because the ranger made it possible that you can walk just next to giraffes. The night game drive was fun although you are not seeing as many animals as during the night because there is only the rangers spotlight. We were happy because we got the chance to see a whole herd of hyenas. The cycling safari the next morning was wonderful. You are just riding in the middle of antelopes, zebras, warthogs or giraffes. Also the stay at Rwakobo Rock was beautiful with its cottages and of course the nice view from the hill.
