We had a wonderful time seeing the amazing natural wonders in Zhangjiajie. Kaia, our tour guide, took care of everything for us and guided us regarding restaurants and places to shop, making our stay easy. She was sweet, informative, helpful and accommodating. My husband n I enjoyed our trip very much. We want to extend our special thanks to Amy Jian for planning our trip. She has always done a very good job. As for our trip, we were very blessed to have a very caring n loving tour guide, Tracy. She speaks good English n she has good knowledge n knows the history of the places that we visited well. She still has room for improvement. She makes us feel very welcome in Zhangjiajie. She prepares very well for her guests like prepare shoe covers for us when it's raining, umbrellas n even gives us gifts n her homemade snacks which she doesn't have to but it's this little gifts that makes you felt the love n warmth from her. We are a Norwegian family of four adults travelling to Zhangjiajie for the first time at the end of the Chinese new years holiday in February. As expected there were some crowds and long queues, but our excellent guide LJ swiftly got us through all of them with ease. He really knew his ways both around the ticket offices, the queue systems and also the local nature, history, folklore and customs. A very lovely person in every sense of the word; calm, kind and well spoken. He managed to relay the stories and memories of the Tujia people, the geography, the development of the area and his own experience growing in this area and seeing all the changed first hand. Our flight was delayed arriving in Zhangjiajie, which affected our scheduled program, however our guide LJ managed to quickly shuffle it around so that we got through everything in the end. Travelling from Norway, we’re fairly spoilt when it comes to beautiful nature. Yet this place left us completely speechless. We were lucky enough to see the incredible mountains in both sun, fog AND snowy conditions - all with its own kind of beauty. We did the schedule in 3 days, and still felt like we got a lot out of it. Without the guide and arrangement from Travel China Guide, we probably wouldn’t have been able to get through even 1/3rd of it. Everything went smooth and as promised, airport pickups, hotel check-in, attraction tickets, driver to and from the various locations and so on. Even food recommendations were great! Overall a fantastic experience - highly recommended!

This was our first tour spot in China on this trip. We were surprised not only by the sightseeing, but there were additional activities we were able to participate in. It was so much fun! Our tour guide took many good pictures for us, she also made a video with all the highlights for us. We all enjoyed this trip very much!

Views were amazing. Took a lot of photos. The climb up the mountains were tedious. The glass bridge is a great experience. The flying fox and slides were memorable. The elevator up the mountain make me queue for 2 hours. Food here is oily and tasteless, not to mention spicy.

Probably the best travel company and travel consultant I have ever interacted with in all my years of travelling. Huge recognition and thank you to Kina Lu for making our tour and general travelling in China so smooth. Kina was professional and very efficient. We booked onto the Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang tour and she was meticulous in detail. She was also very considerate in her advice e.g how early should arrive at station, any other requirements etc. Her communication was speedy and clear. I didn’t know whether she could arrange train tickets outside of the tour but she could and that was very helpful. I interacted with her both in UK and when I arrived in China. She is exceptional. In addition the local guide that we were allocated for the tour Hedy (or Heidi as it came up on WeChat) was absolutely fantastic as well. Very warm, professional and also considerate. We had three children with us and my youngest wasn’t particularly great at queuing in the heat like cattle so she took him with her on the tour guide side to help him relax. She really looked after us and our needs whilst travelling, giving us great information on the area and answering questions we had. We dressed up at Fenghuang and she was so patient as we didn’t finish or get back to the hotel until 10pm or later. Prior to this tour I had only ever booked train tickets on line for family and never used them to book tours. This was my first time using them for a tour as I needed it to be easy with children and they certainly delivered. The hotels were great and the local restaurants you eat at for lunch are delicious and authentic to the area. Private driver was great to have especially with kids, Mr Ding was great. If you do this tour - I hope you get Kina organising for you! Because of Kina’s fantastic service I will be using them again for a trip next year. Thank you Kina for making our travel to China so easy and fun! You are an asset to the company.
