Janaka was great — we had an amazing 7-day trip together. He took my partner and me wherever we wanted to go, was always punctual, and told us many interesting things about Sri Lanka.

We had absoluty a great time with JK! From the first moment he was part of our family for two weeks. Very friendly, funny and drives safe. He introduced some local spots that made the trip very special. We’d seen so many great places, learned from the locals and got inspired by the beauty of all different kind of places. Fine taxi driver who also explained us the habits about the locals and also took us into this. For example, we cooked locally, made between stops where you wouldn't think of yourself!

Janaka is a great guy - super friendly, relaxed, professional and a safe driver. He has a huge knowledge, important relationships to other locals and knows many beautiful spots to watch. His English is great so you can have good conversations with him while traveling. The car is big and comfortable and with our kids we felt super safe. Thanks for the ride to Kandy with stops at tea factory and waterfalls. Hope to see you again someday!!

Janaka absolutely made my trip to Sri Lanka; I was hesitant to have a driver and guide as I’ve travelled all around Asia without one before but Sri Lanka is difficult to navigate and get around if you want to be efficient and know the best spots. Janaka knew the best spots and paths to take to maximise seeing everything amazing on the trip, the best places to find local food, and good guidance on authentic souvenirs and advice on when be thought we might be overcharged on something. I can’t recommend Janaka enough; he was so considerate, kind, trustworthy, I consider him a good friend now forever

We’ve just completed a 12day tour of Sri Lanka with Janaka, our driver/guide. From the moment we met to the moment we left to come back home to the UK, our experience with Janaka was great. A kind, charming and warm-hearted person that I would thoroughly recommend. Despite our flights being severely delayed, Janaka patiently waited for us and got us to our first destination safely. He is a safe, trustworthy and reliable driver. Our car was comfortable, spacious, and always kept clean. We had pre-planned our itinerary before we arrived and had booked our accommodation. Janaka arranged several great safaris for us. Doing this had benefits vs us booking it ourselves. For instance, Janaka came with us on the private safaris and was able to clearly communicate with drivers. This made for a better experience. We ended up seeing 50 elephants in our trip around Dambulla. And we were pleased to spot a leopard, bear, eagle and many animals at Yala national park. Our itinerary was 3nights Dambulla, 1night Kandy, 2nights Ella, 1 night Yalla, and 4nights at relaxing beach locations in the South. There were a few days where we didn’t need the car, but having one for the whole trip is very convenient. Janaka introduced us to several local fruits, stopped for photo opportunities and gave us suggestions for our itinerary. Communication through Whatsapp was great and easy. Overall, we had the best experience in Sri Lanka, and would recommend Janaka to anyone. We would love to return one day.
