Se en ægte Maiko optræde tæt på - en yderst sjælden chance, da kun omkring 40 er tilbage i Kyoto i dag. Showet omfatter to korte danser (ca. 10 minutter i alt), efterfulgt af en Q&A, fotosession og et traditionelt japansk spil. LÆS VENLIGST FØLGENDE OMHYGGELIGT, FØR DU BOOKER ✔️ - Udøveren vil være en MAIKO, ikke en GEISHA. En maiko er en lærling geisha, hvilket betyder, at hun er uddannet til at blive en geisha. Hun er en lærling geisha, som vi kalder en maiko. - Maiko forestillinger er bevidst kort for at bevare kunsten, så hun vil ikke udføre for hele timen. - Vi tilbyder to forskellige tur muligheder: Tea House: holdt inde i en autentisk Kyo-Machiya. Gion teater: afholdt i et dedikeret showhouse. Tjek venligst billederne før booking. - Vi kan ikke have nogen sen ankomst på grund af manerer til andre gæster og til geisha. Got there about 20 mins early so got a good seat. Green tea is provided and a matcha cookie. Toilets available. The guide talked about the history of the geiko and maiko and we watched 2 performances of dance moves. She was very graceful. Then there was a q&a plus she also played a game with audience members. Everyone got a go so not rushed.
Overall this was a great experience, especially for people who know very little about Maiko/ Geiko culture. I would also recommend to people who are mildly interested, or curious about Maiko/ Geiko culture but who are not ready to commit to a bigger more involved or more expensive experience. It's a great introduction experience and very approachable for tourists. It was a smidge expensive for what you get (two short dances, and a brief overview explination of Maiko/Gaiko culture, a game, and a Q&A sesh).
Aki was the highlight of this experience. Thank you for being a terrific moderator!

Wow!! Such a beautiful performance from the makio!! We learned so much about the life of a geisha!! Highly recommend this excursion!! Family fun for all too, young and old!!

Super nice experience! And maiko wears very nice dress, otherwise during the explanations the guide could use microphone, for a better understanding for the audience.
