I et af verdens ældste museer dedikeret til bøger, trykning og skrivning kommer du ind i højsikkerhedshvælvingen og får et nærbillede af Gutenberg-bibelen trykt omkring 1450 i Mainz. Forstå virkningen af dette mesterværk af "Man of the Millennium". Our English speaking tour guide, Judith made the Gutenberg Museum very interesting and informative. Without a guide this museum would take less than 30 min. We had a full hour+ and enjoyed every bit of it. It was a very in depth experience into the history of printing and Gutenbergs contribution to mass production of the written word.
Our tour guide, Judith is very knowledgeable and speaks very excellent and understandable English. She did a great job of explaining the whole printing process and history of printing as well as explaining Gutenbergs contribution to history. It was a fascinating and informative tour.

What amazing experience! Judith was phenomenal. I would see the Gutenberg Museum NO OTHER way than with a tour guide. You really better appreciate the historical significance. And KID FRIENDLY, we have a 9, 5, and 2 year old and they catered the tour to our family, including a live demo of the printing press and letting the kids participate and get a souvenir parchment! Such an amazing family experience.
