Gå en tur gennem gaderne i Nawate-dori, også kendt som "Frøgade", som er hjemsted for mere end 50 butikker, restauranter og caféer, der er mest berømte for at sælge alt, hvad der har med frøer at gøre.
Beliggende 1500 meter over havets overflade dybt inde i Chubu Sangaku National Park, er Kamikochi berømt for sin uberørte naturtilstand, smukke floder og damme, frodige skove og dramatiske bjergtoppe, der stiger til over 3000 meter. Din guide vil føre dig langs en blid vandresti, der starter ved Taisho Pond og følger den forbløffende azurblå Azusa-flod, gennem blandet skov og videre til parkens berømte Kappabashi (Kappa Bridge). I had a wonderful day on this tour from Matsumoto to Kamikochi, Frog Street, and Matsumoto Castle. By chance, I ended up being the only person on the tour which made the experience feel special and personal. Kai, my guide, was fantastic. So kind, friendly, knowledgeable and personalised the tour to make sure I had a wonderful day. Kai went above and beyond throughout the tour, taking the time to answer questions and sharing interesting information and local insights along the way. Kamikochi was absolutely beautiful - a must do - Frog Street was a fun stop (especially if you’re seeking ceramics), and Matsumoto Castle was great.
Despite heavy rains and a closed road to Kamikochi, our day trip turned into an unforgettable adventure thanks to our incredible guide, Mr. Hiroshi, and our skilled driver. When the downpour forced a sudden change of plans, the team pivoted seamlessly and took us to the charming historic post town of Narai-jukualong the Nakasendo trail instead. Mr. Hiroshi's deep knowledge shone through as he brought the old houses to life and even treated us to an insightful extra tour of a local museum that wasn't part of our original itinerary. Meanwhile, our driver kept us safe and comfortable through heavy traffic and relentless rain. We highly recommend this team for their flexibility and expertise, and we will definitely return another time to finally see Kamikochi!

This tour was historical and natural by going to a castle and by hiking in the most beautiful place in Japan. Jake was awsome with his expertise in history and fun facts. He’s also patient and calm which makes the tour so well liked.
A wonderful experience with our guide Shawn and driver Ikeda. This tour was really nice to discover both the Matsumoto city and specially the incredible castle. Hiking in Kamikochi was also a really good moment and we had the chance to see wild ( nice) monkeys . Thanks again Shawn !
