Hele Tiger Leaping Gorge er opdelt i tre dele: den øverste del, den midterste del og den nederste del. Dagens Ljiang til Tiger Leaping Gorge halvdagstur fører til, at du får en 1,5 ~ 2 timers udforskning af den øverste del, beliggende ved mundingen af Jinsha-floden. Du bliver plukket og afleveret på Lijiang / Shuhe-hotellet.

Vores chauffør og guide vil underskrive dit navn og møde dig i din hotellets lobby kl. 08:30 eller 12:30, derefter overføre til Tiger Leaping Gorge og har brug for 2 timers kørsel, 80 km.
Da vores guide købte indgangsbilletten, bringer vores chauffør os til slugten. Vi tager af sted til vores vandretur til den øverste del af Tiger Leaping Gorge. Tag en 15 ~ 20 minutters gang langs plankevejen til udsigtsplatformen på dalbunden. Stærke strømme af Jinsha-floden brøl gennem den smalle dal, med bølger, der smækker mod klipperne. Vær venlig at have dit kamera klar til at fange denne spektakulære udsigt. På det smaleste punkt vil du se en gigantisk klippe på 13 meter højt siddende midt i floden, og brat skære torrenterne i to grene. I mellemtiden bryder de bølgende bølger mod klippen med et voldsomt brøl. Der blev bygget en speciel visningsplatform for at besøgende fuldt ud kunne sætte pris på denne imponerende natur og tage billeder. Du vil have 1,5 ~ 2 timer på at tage i den smukke natur i slugten. This is a must at Yunnan Lijiang. Our guide was Mr. Jerry that he was very nice and very helpful. The tiger leaping gorge is fantastic, an amazing gorge experience. Highly recommended.
The meeting time was 09:30 at our hotel where our guide would meet us. As time passed and the guide did not come, I called and found out that he had forgotten!!!! Finally, after many phone calls and negotiations, a girl from our hotel took us to the point where the driver parked his car, one and a half hours after the scheduled time!!!!(11:00) In the messages we sent each other until he came, he told me that because he was late he would pay the entrance fee to Tiger Leaping, but when I reminded him that it was included in the price ($339 for 2 prs), he apologized and said it was his fault . As soon as we got into the car, the tour guide didn't apologize for the inconvenience and started talking to us about the city. When i asked him what it had happened, he told me that the travel agency had not informed him and he didn't know that there was a tour! For the first time in all my years of travelling, the driver and guide were the same person on such an expensive private tour, wasting even more time in parking. Starting late, we found incredible traffic and the time from Lijian to Tiger Leaping instead of 1.5- 2 hours turned into 3 hours, so when we arrived the first parking lot was full and we couldn't get in! Since we had no other choice, he took us to eat at a restaurant (which we paid for) and then we continued the search for a free parking lot The second parking also is full so we finally managed to reach the third at 15:30 ( the scheduled time we should have returned to the hotel). After all that, as soon as we got to the entrance, he informed us that we would have to pay extra for ...escalator!!! I protested and told the tour guide to call his boss and tell him that this was unacceptable for such an expensive tour and finally, the next day he refunded me the money for the escalator Of course we lost all the remaining free time we had at our disposal after the tour. The recent years I have traveled to more than 70 countries and it is the first time I have encountered such bad company...

the views were amazing! all the places we went were so beautiful and our tour guide Mr Stone is really good and efficient. Everything was so easy as we have our local tour guide that helps us a lot. Really recommended! Would like to discover other Yunnan city again with our tour guide.
