Dette tempel er absolut smukt og et af favoritterne indtil videre sammenlignet med andre mange helligdomme i Japan. Et rigtig smukt sted.
Monzen Terrace Enya er et fantastisk sted at spise ude i Nagano Japan. Lidt væk fra downtown Nagano er det dog ret tæt på Zenkoji-templet, og som varmt kan anbefales som overnatningssted. Maden er en fantasifuld blanding af vestlige (f.eks. pizza og pasta) og japanske stilarter.
Jigokudani Monkey Park (地獄谷野猿公苑, Jigokudani Yaen Kōen) tilbyder besøgende den unikke oplevelse at se vilde aber bade i en naturlig varm kilde. Du stiger af køretøjet og går en blid 30 minutters gåtur gennem en spektakulær skov og ankommer til en kløft. For en meget rimelig pris går du derefter ind i det afspærrede område, hvor du kan bo og se aberne lege og bade. Parken er beboet af japanske makaker, som også er kendt som sneaber.

Ali was very accommodating with our group. He arranged everything for us, he got us as close to the snow monkey park as possible, and he gave us great tips for visiting the temple. Our children don’t do well with structured tours so this was perfect for us.
This private Snow Monkey and Zenkoji Temple tour was a great day out. Moiz was professional, punctual, and very attentive, making sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. The sake tasting was a nice bonus, and the private tour made the experience stress-free and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend.

The 1-Day Private Snow Monkey, Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour with Malik in November was excellent. The autumn scenery was beautiful, and Malik provided helpful guidance throughout the day. The Snow Monkey Park was memorable, Zenkoji Temple was culturally rich, and the sake tasting was a great way to end the tour. The pace was comfortable and transportation was smooth. We enjoyed our day exploring the Monkey Park. The hike through the forest was beautiful and our guide and driver (Ali and Abdul) did a great job. While we didn’t see many monkeys since it was off season, we had a great day. My advice: go at a different time of year but request Ali and Abdul to be your driver and guide!

We had an amazing time on the 1-Day Private Snow Monkey Zenkoji Temple & Sake Tasting Tour! From the moment we met our guide, everything was seamless. The Snow Monkeys were such a unique experience, and getting to see them in their natural hot springs was something we’ll never forget. Extremely Disappointed. "Smile" tours misrepresented what it delivers. This is a driver service only. There is no guide for the monkey park or temple. There is no sake tasting. The lunch was not good - it included the worst sushi I've ever had. This company is trying to present itself as another company that actually offers an English speaking guide to the attractions. And it takes longer than 6 hours, since they don't mention the two hour roundtrip drive to the monkey park. Our driver was a nice person but he could have spoken Japanese and it wouldn't have mattered since he barely spoke to us...
